Sunbathing

I love the sun. There is nothing finer than laying in the windowsill, watching my birds, soaking up the sun's rays in my fur. I can't get closer to the sun or I would. More is better. I thenwash myself to cool down and also consume all that wonderful vitamin d that keeps my bones strong. Who needs to take a supplement: sunbathe on the windowsill.

I read recently that it takes 8 minutes for the sun's rays to reach earth. So I added that to my bucket list of things to do when I can finally get out of the front door: go to the sun. Eight minutes! That's so close. Other things on that list:

-Catch and eat birds on the South side of the house by the bird feeder.
-Catch and eat birds on the West side of the house by the bushes.
-Catch and eat birds on the North side of the house by the garden.
-Catch and eat chipmunks on the East side of the house  when they scamper across the driveway.

I can spend hours lost in fantasy about birds. They are such heavenly creatures. I watch them, I contemplate them, I day dream of them, I night dream of them. Ohhhhh the way they wiggle when they are clamped in my jaws. Ohhhhhh birds. Birds.
